Worlds Largest 3D Street Painting

The Worlds Largest 3D Street Painting spans over 280 square meters giving it the title for largest 3D street paintings. It was created for the Moose Jaw Prairie Arts Festival by Edgar Muller along with his team of artists.  This giant 3D waterfall creates a amazing effect when view from straight on. It kind of reminds me of Beavers 3D Rafting painting.   For more amazing artworks like these check out our collection of 3D Chalk Drawings.

Mother nature’s Iceberg Optical Illusion

Mother nature’s Iceberg Optical Illusion is one of natures true beauty’s.  If you have ever seen an iceberg in reality they are generally enormous chunks of ice floating on top of the water.  Few have ever seen what lies beneath the oceans surface..  The under water picture below gives the term a tip of the iceberg a whole new meaning, With about 90% of the iceberg just below the oceans surface it is truly amazing the sheer size of these giant floating chunks of ice.
Also be sure to check out some of Mother Natures other wonders like The Dancing Tree, or the Devil Horns peering over the clouds.

Day Night Reflection Optical Illusion

This Day Night Reflection Optical Illusion was created by Ellen, one of our readers. The Day Night Reflection Illusions is really neat in that the top half seems to be a night time reflection of the bottom half. The bottom half that would normally be a reflection is bright as day. This picture is almost upside down since the bottom half has the water ripples, it creates a visual paradox though this mixture of day and night. Thanks again Ellen for this great illusion.

Dancing Tree Optical Illusion

Dancing Tree Optical Illusion is a snapshot taken of an actual tree. The roots and branches form the figure of a woman dancer or a ballerina. These little sightings are one of mother natures ways of showing us her beauty. Be sure to check out some of the other Tree anomalies on visualfunhouse as well.

This beautiful dancer shows her beauty from inside of these tree branches

This spectacular photo of a tree was taken by Carol Lynn Fraser of Edmonton, AB, Canada.
Carol is a Creative Artist and school teacher: combining photography (subject matter primarily natural, but also electronic), paint (fabric, water color and acrylic), draw in pencil, sew, screen print and make rock jewelry. She also studies ‘Sacred Geometry’ as did Leonardo DaVinci. Carol does most of her work in her studio located on her family farm in a house built by her great grandfather in 1905. The ‘Dancing Tree’ has been pirated continuously on the internet and has been given a variety of titles such as Ballerina Tree, Woman’s tree etc. People have written poetry about it, painted it, used it for advertising, called it fake; some insisting Carol used photoshop to doctor it. I personally recieved an e-mail from Carol assuring me she did not use anything to change the picture from its original form. She said the photo was taken at night using a flash and this is how it turned out. Carol is a naturalist (born and raised) and believes strongly in the Creative process, Nature, and the Interconnectedness of all things. “She hopes everyone enjoys this gift from her and nature. Carol does not claim to be an Artist in the popular sense of the word. She prefers to create in the privacy of her own home, for the pure pleasure of it. She does not aspire to fame nor fortune. She only asks that if you use her photo that she be given full credit for her work. Carol Lynn Fraser, B.Ed

10 Incredible Driftwood Horses

These 10 Incredible Driftwood Horses have all been hand crafted out of large pieces of driftwood. the mastermind behind this beautiful pieces of art is Heather Jansch. Heather being the horse loving, never letting anything slow her down kinda girl began building these horse sculptures and now has a full gallery and exhibition of them. Heather has even started to build bronze sculptures of these magnificent creatures.

When I first saw these pictures it was almost creepy.. at a glance it almost looked like the skeleton of a horse or a horse with no skin. but once you take a closer look you see the true beauty of these old chunks of driftwood. Also check out the Tire Horse Sculpture!

Mammatus Clouds Optical Illusion

The Mammatus Clouds Optical Illusion isnt so much an optical illusion but its is a very rare site to see. These photos were taken by Joran Olsen of Hastings, Nebraska. He took them in Hartwell park in his home tow.

Mammatus Clouds are formed when air is over saturated with water droplets that begin to freeze or cool then sink. Around the clouds lies sharp gradients in temperature, moisture and wind momentum, that combined to strongly influence the clouds formations. They are very rare to see but defiantly a beautiful site.

Painted Pool Optical Illusion

These Painted Pool Optical Illusions were made to give the illusion that the pool and ponds are inhabited by numerous fish and turtles. These painted pools look surprisingly realistic. I would love to see some of these pools filled with water, it would give the images a some what wavy look and give them the illusion that they were moving.

Hopefully we can find some future pics with the pools filled. This Is very creative fun optical illusion anyone can do to their own pool, so have fun with it and liven things up with some almost real sea life!

If anyone dose get adventurous be sure to submit your photos.

Liquid Flames Optical Illusion

These Water Flame is an very very cool optical illusion. Im not sure if they are actual photo shops or an extremely fast shutter speed.
I have recently seen a tutorial on how to create this effect in photoshop so there is a good chance thats how they are created. On the other hand it could be good timing an super fast shutter speeds! Regardless its a super cool effect!
