Bottomless Book Pit Optical Illusion is a pretty school book sculpture created by Matej Krent. The Tower of books appears to extrude both above and below the floors into a bottom less pit! If you look at the boom side of inside wall, the tower even has lighting! Thats one fancy book tower! Pretty neat effect similar to the Book Room Optical Illusion.
Tire Sculpture Optical Illusions are a creative way to turn used tires into artwork! Most people discard their tires every few years, but this Russian artist has found a whole new use for the old rubbers. The first is of a Giant Rubber Tire buda, the next two pictures are of a tire horse. The horse almost looks like a war horse that should be in lord of the rings. Who know old tires could be so beautiful, but then again thats why they call it art! so next time you are looking around at a pile of trash you are throwing out… think what you can create out of it! it could become world famous 🙂 so don’t forget to submit your artwork.
Torre Mare Nostrum Extreme Architecture is an architectural masterpiece. Its almost an illusion looking at this building. Standing 282 ft tall with 20 floors and an very odd yet cool 40m span extruding out the side of the 5th floor. this building was finished in 2005. Torre Mare Nostrum is the home of Gas Natural and was designed by Enric Miralles as its last architectural masterpiece before he passed away. These Magnificent photos were taken by Santiago Muñoz.
wavy Floor Optical Illusion is created with carefully designed patterns imprinted on the carpet. Its amazing the eye tricks a simple pattern can play on you. This regular old carpet in a convention room looks like its made up of rolling sand dunes. If people had a little to much to drink it would probably be an entertaining room to be in!
3D Concave Monkey Optical Illusion is a an illusion shot by mrettig. This is a classic example of the Hollow Face Optical Illusion. Due to the back lit lighting this monkeys face appears to be 3D and popping out at you. In fact it is actually a convex shape, and the photo is taken looking into the back of the mask where your face would normally go. For a demonstration of exactly how this illusions works check out the Hollow Face Video Optical Illusion.
Floating Boat Optical Illusion is a very cool picture. The boat appears to be floating in thin air! Im sure we have all seen hover crafts but they generally ride on very small cousin of air and this little row boat sure inst packing a giant fan underneath! The trick here is the shadow, which is normally how you tell how far off the ground it is.. IS the shadow on top or underwater? Well on the topic of the sea be sure to check out this incredible Underwater Sculpture Park.
Jeppe Heins Neon Mirror Cube Optical Illusion. Created with only a few mirrors and a couple neon bars you can create the illusion of Three Dimensional neon cube. This Optical Illusion artwork was created by Jeppe Heins for an art exhibition.
Endless Tunnel of Light Optical Illusion creates an endless tunnel of light. These optical illusions are quite simple yet give a very effective. This is actually put into my headboard in y room! It is created using two mirrors and a bunch of little lights. The back mirror is a normal one, the second is a two-way mirror. The middle chamber is surrounded by lights. When the lights are off it appears to be a regular mirror when the lights turn, you see an never ending tunnel of light as the reflections bounce back off each other. Simple yet very effective illusion 🙂
Fercos Brothers Water Levitation Optical Illusion is a pretty awesome magic show. I have always been amazed as magicians trying to figure out how they pull off their amazing illusions. Levatiation Optical Illusions, have always been a crowd pleaser’s. I know back in the day they would have a thin bar going behind the curtains holding up the lovely assistant, and the hope passing under was all in how you maneuver it. In this optical illusion the Fercos brothers are lacking a curtain, so unless there is somethings hidden by the water im at a loss for this one.. any ideas?
Underwater Candle Flame Optical Illusion is once crazy illusion. First time I have seen a flame under water! It nicely compliments the liquid Water Flame Optical Illusion. So how the heck do you think they do it? unless theres some high tech water proof flames lol. But if it was a fake glass with a acrylic lid it would suffocate the flame and go out within a few seconds, so very quick with the photography or how the heck would they of pulled it off?
