Rotating Jet Engine Optical Illusion is a pretty crazy picture taken by Johnny Vulkan, when you stare into the jet turbine it appears to be slowly spinning around. The picture is a static image, which makes this a nice optical illusion. The turbine is off Virgin Americas A320 Airbus airplane. The circular array of shadows keep your eyes shifting and help give the illusion of motion.
The Glass Toilet Optical Illusion is an actual public toilet in Houston, Texas. This wackey glass toilet is made using one way mirrors, so from the outside its just a mirror which doesn’t allow you to see in… but on the inside you can see out clear as day! Im not sure about you but I would still feel extremely weird using the washroom in there. Even though you know they just see a mirror, seeing sets a subconscious illusion that they can see you as well.
Would you guys feel awkward using it?
Flying Cat Optical Illusion is one of those perfect photos. Have you ever thought you took a normal photo, then once it was developed you noticed something completely out of place? Well this flying cat was one of those photos! The family had a big surprise when they noticed this flying cat in the background. I’m not to sure what the heck he jumped off of, the building to the left looks fairly far in the distance.. unless he really can fly! You never know 😛
Distorted Bike Optical Illusion was uploaded to the site form one of out viewers, This is a really weird picture in the fact that the bike tires look to be warped or very distorted. I am not to sure if it some sort of lens distortion or somethings strange with the shutter speeds or what the heck is going on there. Anyone have any ideas? Maybe hes just very skillfully riding a bike with warped tires.. all though I don’t think he could get up to the speed those motion blur has in it! Also kind of wired one is this Bike Grown into a tree!
The Valencia’s Perfect Reflection Optical Illusion was one i stumbled across and just had to post, this stunning picture taken by Optical Illusion on flickr. Santiago Calatrava’s ‘Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias’ Is the building featured in this picture, the photo was taken with the water still as glass giving it a near perfect reflection. It almost looks like a big eyeball looking out over the water.
Beach Footprint Optical Illusion is simple yet still a neat effect. When you look into the footprint in the sand does it appear convex or concave? If you stare at it for a minute or two it almost appears to switch back and forth? Any ideas which one is the real one. Take a close look and let me know what your think.

Mother nature’s Iceberg Optical Illusion is one of natures true beauty’s. If you have ever seen an iceberg in reality they are generally enormous chunks of ice floating on top of the water. Few have ever seen what lies beneath the oceans surface.. The under water picture below gives the term a tip of the iceberg a whole new meaning, With about 90% of the iceberg just below the oceans surface it is truly amazing the sheer size of these giant floating chunks of ice.

Floating Kid Optical Illusion is a near snapshot illusion, the kid appears to be floating in thin air. It almost looks like he just floated off of his bean bag chair. Coca Cola Vending Machine Camouflage Suit was developed by a designer in Japan. With high crime rates this vending machine suite was aimed to be a form of camouflage, I personally couldn’t see anyone hiding out as a vending machine but hey it could work! Below you can see the girl illustrates the suit that appears as a piece of her dress and how it transforms into this full size coca cola machine. Ms Tuskioka has sold about 20 of theses suits at 800$ each.. she agrees they are a bit impractical but plans to make other variations to market more widely. If you had police officer hiding out in these suits it might help in scaring off the criminals but as far as a personal disguise i’m not to sure how well it would work.. running away as you put on your pop machine outfit and slide along side the local snack machine 🙂
