Backwards Reflection Optical Illusion
Backwards Reflection Optical Illusion was submitted by one of our readers. If you look in to the mirror instead of seeing his face you see the back of his head, a backwards reflection! how the heck does that happen? How the heck would they pull that reflection off? My only guess is the mirrors are angles to bounce of each other (one out of plain view) that is seeing the back of his head.. at least thats my guess.. any other ideas? This image was inspired by a Magritte painting and created by Paul Bradley
the theory the top is wrong because in the reflection the guy is facing a door, not the mirror, so my theory is that the guy is actually looking at an enlarged photograph of the back of his head.
This definitely Photoshop.
1. The angle of the reflection is absolutely the same of the reflection.
2. Homogenized blur. What kind of camera focus near and far, but blurs the middle of the range?
Sorry but someone is trying to make a fool of us.
hole in the wall, two guys (twins?)
I don’t know who submitted this but I can assure you it was done in Photoshop because it’s my shot – the original is on Flickr at
