Roswell Aliens have been a controversial topic around aliens and UFO’s for years. Hundreds of believers travel out to Roswell and new Mexico every year to try to get a glimpse of another world for their self.. As with any supernatural or mysterious event there has been many tourist attractions built around such events. This amazing photo was taken by Rob Sheridan while visiting a Roswell tourist attraction in New Mexico. 3D Painted Illusion Rooms is a  new update to the 3D Painted Rooms collection. These amazing paintings are created using light to project the image onto the warped surface. This gives you a a guideline on where to paint to keep things into perspective.  Some of the more advanced ones like Marvels The Thing Theater Painting were probably done with an image projected using an old overheard projector. This new collection i believe was done by the same artist, Felice Varini. His work is becoming quite well known with an ever increasing gallery of optical illusion art. Willard Wigan is created of the Worlds Smallest art works, his miniature creations are so small they fit inside the eye of a needle or on top of the head of a pin.  Most of the sculptures are created from a grain of sand which are slowly carved away and painted with a hair plucked off the back of a fly! Many of Willard’s artwoks sell for over 300,000 each! His collection was recently baught for over 30 Million! Im not quite sure if this classifies as an optical illusion, but its pretty amazing if you ask me.  The photos below were taken looking through a micorscope! Looking at this last photo just puts it into perspective how tiny Wigans artwork really is!

Palm Tree Shadow Optical Illusion is a cleaver way to raise awareness about saving trees.  The post to the right side of the pictures reads “Nothing can replace a tree” but yet the shadow looks nothing like a post.  This one is a little obvious, with the difference in shadows that the palm tree was painted, but never the less till a cool illusion and a good way to send a message.  For some more Tree optical illusions check out the Science world Beaver Trees, the Dieing Plant corpse or the Rubin Freshness Bag Optical Illusion.

3D Painted Face is a pretty cool optical illusion created by P. Broomfield. Broomfield is an optical illusion lover who wanted to make one of his own. This glowing 3D face was painted using uv paint and black lights to give it that pop out look. The 3D face was painted in the corner of the room using contrasting colors, this is what gives it the 3d effect when viewed straight on. This effect is simillar to the 3D Gorilla illusion but was probally done using light or a projector to post the skewed image onto the wall to guide the painting much like the 3D painted rooms.
